The mats were delivered very quickly and were exactly as described. I originally considered 3 x 3 but went for 4 x 4 in the end and am glad I did as it gives so much more extra room. These is a 'chemical' smell to these mats when new, as others have commented, but after a few uses/ mop-downs and having the room ventilated the smell soon went. Overall perfect for a home jiu-jitsu lock-down set up, these 40mm mats are firm and can absorb impact as needed. Highly recommended!
