An excellent quality judo style gi (I have to admit i didn't know there was a difference between karate and judo gi, but if you need to know a judo gi is reinforced and heavyweight to take being grabbed and used to throw your opponent) The fabric is strong and fits my son excellently with room to grow (He is only 12) comes with a white belt which wasn't needed as he is already graded. It washes well and irons to a nice crisp finish too.

Very pleased with this, it has had its first few outings in our Aikido dojo. A good, comfortable fit. Like all kits I have found on the market it has long sleeves. We prefer sleeves that leave the wrist well exposed in Aikido as this helps our practice. I had to spend a weekend shortening the sleeves to the required length. Any chance you could sell kits for Aikido so I don't have to do this in future?

This judo uniform is well made, strong material and washes well. On the down size, it comes up enormous for his size.. So i have had to take up the trousers. At least it will last him!

I'd been putting off getting my 17year old Son his own uniform ( a late starter!).. but was pleased I got round to doing this, not as expensive as I'd thought and choosing the size based on his height was suprisingly accurate. It did look huge when it arrived but fitted him fine. My only concern was that the top seemed very heavy but my son assures me that being able to manage its weight is all part of developing your fitness. However with a younger child it may be worth getting advice as to which style is most suitable.
