I practice Aikido and Judo clothing is often the best choice. The top half is comfortable to wear with no stitching rubbing against me. The material is dense and rigid along the collar giving it a good shape, although I wouldn't mind if it softened up a little bit. The sleeves are cut slightly short which is great for techniques involving wrist grabs (past purchases from other suppliers had very baggy sleeves that I had to roll up constantly). The bottom half are pretty standard trousers with an integrated drawstring for tying up the trousers. The belt is a decent length and is of similar construction to the top. Happy with the purchase and the fit. I went with an adult size 4 and I am of average/above average build and average height (slightly overweight but about 5 foot 10 inches in height). Often the gi shrink a little in the wash but so far I cannot see that happening, although the fit isn't so tight that shrinkage would pose a problem. Would buy again.

A poor choice of jacket / trouser length combination. The sizes are normally linked to a persons height e.g. 170cm (5 ft 7inch tall) but the trousers are size No4 (101 cm) which would fit someone much taller, perhaps 6ft 4inch therefore the supplied trousers are about 18cm too long. It would be much improved if the customer could choose a jacket and trouser size combination rather than the crazy 170/4 option. Good suit but the trousers are far too long and will require altering.
