I have trained in karate for many years - dan grade - and have recently begun cross training, throwing and ground work with like minded martial artists. I was using an old karate gi - high quality Japanese gi, but very worn - until the arm got completely ripped off. I decided to look for a cheap judogi that might stand up to the wear and tear of grappling rather better. I am used to paying £100 to £200 for a quality gi, so at under £30 I wasn’t expecting much. However, the quality is excellent and far better than the price tag suggests - although I am no expert on judogi. The jacket is thick and well stitched and looks like it will stand up well to the punishment. I like the elasticated pants (with drawstring, too), which have a double layer over the knees. The gi is 100% cotton, which I prefer to polycotton mixes - my other gis are all 100% cotton. I am 185cm tall and ordered the 190cm gi. The jacket is a perfect size for my body type (average build), although the arms are long (and I have long arms). The pants are about right. I have long legs (35” inside leg), so if you have short legs, these might be long on you. I guess there will be some shrinkage as I wash the gi, so the arms/legs may get a little shorter - the gi’s, not mine! At the price, you can’t go wrong. The quality strikes me as being worth a lot more. Update, April 2024. Over time, the dogi has shrunk a little and now fits perfectly. No long arms any more (though judo competition rules require longer arms than I'm used to in a karategi). A year ago I began training judo for real, alongside my karate, and am a couple of grades in now. I'm still using this same dogi, and it's still going strong. Thoroughly recommend this if you want to try a grappling martial art and don't want to spend a lot of money.

Judo kit is looking really sturdy and hard. It's looking like is way thicker then Adidas brand for a fraction of cost. Sizing wise 140 is way too big for my 9y old (135cm) so I'll be getting smaller one.

I am 179cm tall, 33 inch leg, 44 chest, 36 waist. Ordered a size 5/180cm gi. Arrived promptly, and feels well made (stiff, sturdy etc.), and certainly comparable with more expensive suits. The trousers do have both an elasticated waist and drawstrings, and the free belt is 280cm long (okay-ish quality). Sadly, the suit was huge on me. I looked at the BJA guide to fitting a judogi on YouTube and the trousers had 15cm turn-ups to fit, with the arm length being way too long too (by over 10cm). Overall, even on the chest and arm drop (baggyness) it is very generous sizing. There is no option to swap sizes as a return, so I started the return process for a refund and re-ordered in a size 4/170cm). When the smaller gi arrives I'll compare suits and update this review. I didn't fancy the boil wash and tumble dry method suggested on sherdog and martialtalk forums, and other reviews here suggest it is pre-shrunk and will not shrink much if washed at 30 degrees. So, if in doubt I would suggest you buy the smaller size.

The GI arrived on time and in sealed packaging with tags as expected. I've only used this twice so far but I'm confident it'll have a long life span. Stitched well with no fraying or loose stitching noted. Size wise I found this came up ever so slightly bigger than Gi's I've used before but not dramatically. As with most Gi's there is a small amount of shrinking after first wash which is what I hoped for but was a little looser than other Gi's I've previously owned... again, not dramatically and it hasn't stopped me using it. For reference, I'm 180cm tall with a 40-42 inch chest. I purchased the 180 Gi. Happy with Gi and would happily buy again if needed to.

This make was recommend to me by someone in my Judo class, it's a great weight, very strong and sturdy. I'm a female 5ft 7 size 12-14 and purchased the 180 cm size. The trousers were slightly long but after a couple of washes they have shrunk so I'm now glad l didn't buy the shorter ones. The waist pulls in to fit and would adjust to various shapes and sizes. Good value for money and included a white belt.

Ich war lange auf der Suche nach einem wettkampftauglichen Judo-Anzug für meinen Sohn. Dieser hier bietet im Gegensatz zu anderen Anzügen einen sehr steifen Kragen, somit schwerer für den Gegner zu greifen. Nach dem waschen ist er ca um 3-4 geschrumpft. Dies ist eine normale Eigenschaft.

Pacco arrivato puntualmente. Ottimo il materiale ed esattamente come da descrione. Essendo alta 170cm, ho considerato l'eventuale calo del cotone dopo il lavaggio ed ho ordinato un kimono per 180cm. I pantaloni, dopo un lavaggio a 60 gradi sono calati parecchio ed ora sono perfetti per la mia altezza. La casacca non è calata granché e dovrò accorciare le maniche perché sono davvero troppo lunghe, mi coprono le mani. Molto soddisfatta della qualità, senz'altro lo consiglio. Io lo uso per l'Aikido.

He pedido la talla 2/150 y es enorme. Tenemos otro Judogi de la marca Green Hill talla 2/150 y se lleva siete centímetros en ancho de hombros. No sé si encogerse al lavar o no, pero estoy por devolverlo. Alguien puede decirme si encoge bastante al lavarlo? El otro de la marca Green Hill le queda bien desde el minuto uno, la diferencia es mucha. Por lo demás, está inmejorable el producto, recome dable al 100%
